Information
Driven by regulations and driving pleasure, electrification will have a huge impact on future automotive powertrain technology. At present, most hybrid powertrain systems use a hybrid expansion scheme based on traditional gearboxes, that is, use existing gearboxes and make adjustments to make them suitable for motor drive. A good example of this hybrid expansion program is Volkswagen's DQ400e gearbox. In this case, a module is placed between the engine and the DCT to enhance the functionality of the standard DCT gearbox. Another case is ZF's 8P70H gearbox, whose bell-shaped housing is extended to support the motor that replaces the torque converter. The strength of a clutch in the gearbox is improved and can be used for vehicle start. This hybrid expansion solution has several advantages due to its reusable parts and production lines, reducing the workload of development. As the output of hybrid powertrain systems continues to grow, the requirements for functionality, weight, layout, cost, and higher efficiency drive the development of hybrid powertrains towards specialized and more optimized solutions, resulting in hybrid transmissions. At present, the hybrid models of domestic and foreign auto manufacturers adopt this special transmission scheme, such as Toyota and SAIC. However, electric drive gearboxes dedicated to hybrid power require high technology and large investment to support development, and material costs have advantages in larger batches.
According to the collective prediction of new energy vehicle experts from 9 major domestic auto companies, fuel consumption regulations will be the main driving force for the development of new energy vehicles in the next 3-5 years and beyond. (Plug-in) Hybrid power performance is excellent, energy saving effect is obvious, and battery capacity is small. It is expected that production and sales will accelerate in the next few years. By 2020 or later 1-2 years, it will form a situation where it will go hand in hand with electric vehicles. However, the rapid development of (plug-in) hybrid vehicles depends on independent innovation and the development of efficient, low-cost, and reliable coupling systems. Once a breakthrough is formed, there will be a leap in development.
The 8th International Automotive Transmission and Drive Technology Symposium TMC2016, jointly organized by the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineers and China Automotive Hansi Management Consulting Company, will be held on April 28-29 this year at the Renaissance Beijing R & F Hotel. The seminar will provide 45 reports to introduce and discuss traditional power vehicle transmission enhancement technology, (plug-in) hybrid and electric vehicle transmission and drive technology, and the number of reports on traditional power and new energy vehicles will be divided by half.
At present, whether in the international or domestic market, hybrid technology has entered the era of big PK. The hybrid topic of this conference has also received more positive responses from domestic and foreign companies, such as Toyota Motor, ZF, Magna, and Grid. Lacker, Continental, AVL, IAV, Punch Power, PUNCH Powerglide and other companies will respectively introduce the latest extended range, special transmission DHT, P2, P3, P4 and other hybrid transmission and drive technology solutions and research and development technologies.
In addition, the organizing committee will invite SAIC leaders and experts to introduce SAIC’s practice and strategy in new energy vehicle drive technology, and will organize a high-level interactive forum for hybrid transmissions and drive technology routes and strategies that are generally of concern to domestic companies. Have a more in-depth discussion on market demand, key performance targets, technical solutions, cost control, production scale and timetable. The meeting will also invite SAIC Jieneng, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tsinghua University and AVL to introduce and discuss the testing technology and standards of hybrid transmissions. The following is a brief introduction to some of the hybrid technical reports for everyone to get a glimpse.
Toyota-Localized development of FF small-capacity hybrid transmission
The hybrid gearboxes mounted on the Corolla (participation, picture, inquiry) Shuangqing and Leilink (participation, picture, inquiry) Shuangqing are produced in Changshu, and about 50% of the components are domestically produced. Considering China's road environment, a series of bench and vehicle tests have been carried out in China. Toyota will introduce the characteristics of Corolla Dual Engine and Ralink Dual Engine and the localization of hybrid electric vehicle gearboxes in the speech.
ZF: Development of a parallel extended-range drive scheme suitable for vehicles with front and rear axle engines transversely mounted
ZF proposed a parallel extended range solution based on a single motor, which has the ability to compete with traditional pure fuel vehicles. This solution can provide a 2-level speed ratio for the electric motor and a 4-level speed ratio for the internal combustion engine. The electric motor can meet the driving demand in most situations in urban areas and highways, while the internal combustion engine provides auxiliary driving power and increases when needed. Cheng power generation. An application example is a transmission mechanism combining a traditional three-shaft gearbox and a planetary row. The physical prototype has been verified and is currently undergoing verification tests for advanced driving performance and fuel economy with the support of the OEM.
Continental Motors: electric drives customized for the Chinese market
The concept of compactness, light weight, and low cost proposed in this abstract is indeed the direction that PHEV powertrains need to be considered. The basic structure of the electric drive was announced at the meeting.
AVL: Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT)—Provides solutions for the increasing production of hybrid powertrain systems
This research explains the motivation of DHT, introduces the design standards of DHT, the current batch-produced gearbox design scheme and their evaluation in general, and introduces in detail the AVL future hybrid series 7 mode that emphasizes CO2 and cost control. , 8-mode DHT gearbox.
IAV: From user requirements to the best hybrid system
According to customer requirements, starting from defining the boundary of the powertrain, to the development method of the transmission and electric motor, a single-motor and 4-speed planetary automatic transmission scheme was derived from this. This solution is used in B-class cars, which can achieve acceleration performance of 4 seconds per 100 kilometers and fuel economy of 4 liters.
Punch Power: Leading fully integrated plug-in hybrid CVT
This article compares a variety of mainstream PHEV configuration solutions, paying particular attention to the complexity of the final solution, the availability of components and subsystems, cost, vehicle physical loading, technical maturity, and fuel-saving potential. . Based on the comparison results, Punch Power has demonstrated the advantages of the P3 architecture. In addition, it also discussed how to combine the subsystems of the P3 architecture to realize the P4 architecture with an electric rear-drive system, and finally make continuous improvements to the system.
